New Sedan from Skoda to Be Called Rapid
The announcement was made by Skoda boss Winfried Vahland just before the ‘Mission L’ concept was making its debut at the Beijing Motor Show. The venue was chosen due to the importance of the Chinese car market where Skoda sells over 25% of its cars.
The new car is expected to have a starting price of around €14.600 ($19,200) when it goes on sale next year along with a replacement for the current generation Octavia which is set to move upmarket along with the Superb.
