Famed Russian customizer of luxury premium vehicles TopCar has never missed an opportunity to take a Porsche to the next level. So we ask you: why should the all-new 911 Turbo / Turbo S be any different?
Work has thus already started at their Moscow "laboratory" on a 911 that's even more radical than what Porsche offers. The usual mixture of elements is being planned out in design clay: a new front and rear bumpers, new front fenders, a new hood, modified door panels and widened arches at the back. You get the idea...
All these and more will be fabricated from carbon fiber using the vacuum forming method. Only rendering and a mockup are ready at the moment, but everything looks extremely impressive on par in terms of fit and finish with Stuttgart goods.
Also planned for the 911 Turbo are custom wheel sets, like the gold ones from PUR we can see on the mockup. In addition, the Porsche 991 Turbo will likely soon receive an ECU remap, new air filters, manifolds and a custom exhaust to boost its 3.8-liter flat-six's output above 600 horsepower.
For those still not familiar with with TopCar's work, they have a very specific design language for Porsches. A wider look is usually crafted for the cars, to add aggression, usually all done using carbon fiber components. There are even naming systems in place, so if for example a Cayenne is being tuned, it will get the Vantage GTR name, while the program for Panamera is named Stingray GTR.
All the changes to the 911 Turbo/Turbo S will be ready by late summer, when we'll get to see a finished product at the Moscow International Automobile Salon 2014.
