New Porsche 911 GT3 – Real Life Photos from France [Photo Gallery]
To celebrant 50 years of engines in the wrong place, the brand new GT3 version of the coupe has been reinterpreted as a savage beast for the track. Many more changes took place under the skin, but here's the headline grabbers: 3.8-liter goes from 400 PS to 475 PS, all four wheels do the steering, and the car laps the Nurburgring as fast as a Mercedes SLS.
A whole bunch o these savage creatures defended upon France yesterday where these first real-life amateur photos were taken. We appreciate these images because they allow potential customers to see what the 911 GT3 looks like without Porsche's photo doctoring being involved. The game-changing car for the track day wold should be even more impressive in person, hearing the 3.8-liter flat-six scream at 9,000 rpm as it carves up the track and devours fuel.
