The shape of the Porsche 911 has been steadily evolving over time, and while it may look as if the designers have been rather lazy, they have, in fact, been working hard on keeping the shape looking fresh and modern. In its latest incarnation, the 991, Porsche have made some slight alterations to the overall shape, while still retaining its unmistakeable 911-ness.
The first thing that strikes the Porsche aficionado is the substantially longer wheelbase (9.5 cm / 3.9 in), as well as the slightly longer overall length, with shorter overhangs than before. It is also slightly wider both at the front and at the rear. All these modifications, as well as the slightly-bolder shaping of the panels than that applied to its predecessors, really make a big impact, especially when covered in a matte finish - preferably black.
Luckily for us, autogespot.com had some pictures of just such a matte black 991 Carrera S and we had to show them to you. The car looks simply stunning finished in this way, and with its equally black (but glossy) wheels and contrasting calipers, it really looks the business! This is one Porker that will get you noticed - big time!
