It's hard to explain what makes the new S-Class Coupe so special. Mercedes-Benz has tried on a number of occasions to put that into words, but we find pictures do a much better job. Pictures like the ones recently taken by Easton Chang.
A photo shoot in collaboration with famed German luxury fashion and style house Hugo Boss sees the beautiful new S-Class Coupe paraded around the island of Sylt, located in the North Sea. Whether you have an eye for good photography or not, the lines of the car are of a clear and unmistakable beauty.

The German carmaker itself describes what's happening as a "day of cloudy skies and rough beauty, from the waterfront through the villages, from the infamous Sansibar to the Golf Club Sylt."

Sylt is a famous German beach resort island. It's also the place that Volkswagen chose to highlight the beauty of its Beetle Dune Concept two month ago. As attractive as the Bug way, it can't hold a candle to the S-Coupe though.

Besides being a looker, the S 500 Coupe is also well equipped. As standard, it comes with Active Parking Assist with a reversing camera, a panoramic roof, a 12.3” TFT display, the clever Magic Vision Control system, Command Online and a choice of nine metallic paint options.

Yours for €125,961 in Germany, the S 500 4Matic Coupe packs a 4.7-liter biturbo V8 delivering 455 PS. It is capable of sprinting from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.6 seconds and reaching an electronically limited top speed of 250 km/h.

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
