To celebrate 100 years of motoring, Abarth decided to build a special kit for the fiat 500 and it looks very italian, and sexy.

The kit is called “esseesse” and is packed in a traditional elegant wooden box, an can be sold and installed exclusively within the Abarth network of tuners to guarantee high control and safety standards.

With the kit the 1.4 16V Turbo T-jet engine achieves a maximum power of 160 HP ant 5750 rpm, and if it is set in “sport mode”, a peak torque of 230Nm at 3000 rpm. The result is 211 km/h and 0-100 acceleration in just 7.4 seconds, which were supercar figures in the '60s.

The “esseesse” kit also offers perforated disk brakes on all four wheels, high performance brake pads, special springs that lower the car, making it better in corners, new alloy wheels painted in white and titanium color, combined with Pirelli P Zero 205/40 ZR 17 tyre.

A special air filter “powered by BMC”, the   and four tyre pressure sensors “esseesse” logo on the engine cover and the tailgate, and a special, original key fob complete the ultimate kit for the car.

The end result is stunning to look at, and stunning to drive, since the original car was a cracker in the first place. All we can say is happy birthday Abarth, you have made another good looking vehicle.

The kit for the special Fiat 500 was was released in a special exhibition called "From 0 to 100" signifying Abarth's 100th birthday, and it is one of the many programs organized during the "Month of the Scorpion", a calendar of events dedicated to Karl Abarth.

We must say the kit looks great and the scorpion has never looked sexier. Its too bed that the kit is a limited edition, because it transforms the 500 form a girl's coffee car to a bad mean machine. More images in the gallery below.
