This year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed will be pretty exciting, with a lot of manufacturers having something special going on for the big event. Take Jaguar for example, which along with celebrating its motorsport history will also present us an all new vehicle.
Last week, Jaguar Land Rover announced the establishment of their new Special Operations division, which is said now to put out its first product. The manufacturer just announced it’s ready to unveil the new car at the Goodwood Festival, which is held between 26-29th June.

The Special Operations division will specialize in creating high performance and ultra luxury cars along with limited edition and halo vehicles for the company.

And that’s not all, as the automaker has even more interesting things prepared for its visitors. Jaguar will boast an extensive selection of past, present and future models at the event, including racecars such as the D-type, XJS TWR and XJR-9 that will actually tackle the hillclimb.

Jaguar will also celebrate the 60th anniversary of its Le Mans winner D-type and it will also reunite ex-Works driver Andy Wallace with its XJR-9 LM endurance racecar.

Among the cars that will race against the clock on the hill, you’ll also be able to see the new Jaguar F-Type Coupe, XFR-S Sportbrake and the iconic ‘Group 44’ E-type, with the first two models also being showcased at Jaguar’s booth for the public to check out.
