Citroen has just enriched its commercial vehicles lineup in France with the launch of the new C3 Enterprise, a model that will also go on sale in other European countries in the upcoming months. Technical details include a single engine - the powerplant range will most likely receive new units in the near future - that will be matted to a five-speed manual gearbox. The 1.4-liter HDI unit develops 70 horsepower.

The French specification comes standard with ABS, EBD, front airbags (driver and passenger), air conditioning, power windows, central locking with remote control, adjustable seat hight and pre-installed audio connectivity.

Back in January, Citroen also upgraded the van lineup in the United Kingdom, with some certain models receiving the Citroen Trafficmaster Smartnav/Trackstar stolen vehicle package.

“Citroën remains committed to providing its customers with the technology to optimise vehicle efficiency and safety. The company’s new 2010 initiative - to fit all Berlingo, Dispatch and Relay panel vans with Trafficmaster Smartnav - will empower even more operators with the means to cut costs, minimise emissions and reduce driver stress. No other light commercial vehicle manufacturer has shown such a clear and unequivocal commitment to these crucial factors,”
said Charles Peugeot, head of commercial vehicles and business sector sales.

Consumer who are choosing to equip their Citroen vans with the new Trafficmaster system will also be able to opt for the Fleet Director for £19.99 + VAT per month. Fleet Director is a real-time fleet management program which helps head offices to improve communications with the vehicles and show their exact locations, or send routes or jobs directly to the vehicles.
