Specifically, the so-called superkit comes with 400 mm (15.75-inch) diameter two-piece floating front rotors, which means they are 20 mm (0.75-inch) larger compared to the standard units. They feature 6-piston monoblock calipers made from solid aluminum billet. "These mammoth calipers house high coefficient pads with a sizeable increase in surface area, providing a significant increase in performance over the standard equipment," Alcon explained.
On the rear, the new kit brings smaller 6-piston calipers mated to 385 mm (15.16-inch) diameter rotors - larger than the stock 380 mm (15-inch) units. The original parking brake is untouched so it remains fully functional, the part manufacturer said.
"Both front and rear upgrades fit within the stock GTR 20" wheels, and are compatible with the factory actuation system."
