After the introduction of the excellent twin turbo V8 in the Continental GT earlier this year, Bentley still have big plans ahead. They have announced that the Goodwood Festival of Speed is the venue chosen to show off a mysterious new model.
Apart from the EXP 9 F SUV and the Mulsanne Mulliner Driving Specifications (MDS), which is a more ‘sporty’ version of the standard Mulsanne, getting sports suspension, diamond-quilted leather seats and 21-inch rims, Bentley are remaining tight-lipped about the car they’re showing, giving vague explanations like the fact that the car “combines stunning performance with exquisite luxury in the Bentley tradition.”
Most plausible of the speculations is the revealing of the new Continental GT Speed, according to a list of cars to be attending the event on which the name comes up, however, the list may refer to the old version of the car. We’ll have to wait and see!
