Gyor recently also began making the A3 Sedan and also builds the udi TT Coupe and TT Roadster there. The company has invested a total of more than €900 million in buildings and equipment at the facility.

The only A3 model to offer the wind-in-your-hair experience is a longer and wider. But also thanks to Audi's ultra-lightweight construction, it's 50 kg lighter than its predecessor. There's more storage room and two tall adults will be able to sit in the back without having to hug their knees.

At any speed up to 50 km/h, you can put the roof down at the flip of a switch. The car is also very economical, fitted with the latest engines. To really get the blood flowing though, you're going to have to wait for the S3 version, which comes out next year.

“Production of the new A3 Cabriolet is another step in expanding our production capacities in GyQr to 125,000 automobiles each year. For many years, our Hungarian plant has convinced our customers with automobiles in premium quality. This is made possible by a flexible team with great expertise,” stated Dr. Frank Dreves, Board of Management Member for Production of AUDI AG.
