New Aston Martin V8 Vantage S Images Released

The overall design for the V8 Vantage is already almost 6 years old, but it is arguably still one of the most beautiful cars out there. So, in order to keep their supermodel looking fresh and relevant, Aston Martin have given the old girl a makeover.

The new, sportier V8 Vantage S was revealed just a few days ago, so the scars from all that cosmetic surgery might still be fresh, but complete photo galleries for both the coupe and the cabrio have been released by the British sportscar maker.

The shots, that unfortunately are not all in high resolution, highlight all the new parts of the car’s interior and exterior that give it a more aggressive look. We even spot a fresh Bang & Olufsen audio system that continues the collaboration between the two companies, which started back in 2008 with the launch of the BeoSound DBS.

The Vantage S now comes as standard with a pair of paddle shifters behind the steering-wheel, as the conventional manual gearbox was replaced by an all-new Sportshift II seven-speed automated-manual transmission. A new exhaust muffler has also been fitted on the Aston Martin V8 Vantage S, in order to achieve its own unique sound, while the lower front bumper has been redesigned and is now made from carbon fiber.
