Yesterday, we showed you the full trailer for the Need For Speed movie coming in 2014. Like we said, the producers used replicas of the most famous new exotics on the market and now one of these is up for grabs.
A Lamborghini Sesto Elemento replica recently showed up on eBay, with the current bid (at the time when this article was written) sitting at $9,999 (EUR7,400 at the current exchange rates).
If you’ve watched the aforementioned trailer, you know that the Sesto Elemento replica isn’t exactly in tip top shape after the crashes in the movie.
We’ll remind you that Lamborghini is only producing 20 units of the actual Sesto Elemento, with each retailing for about $2 million (EUR1.5 million).
We’ll remind you that this does share its engine and other elements with the Gallardo Lp570-4 Superleggera, but it makes extensive use of Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymer (CFRP). Thus, instead of tipping the scales at 1,340 kg (2,954 kg), the Sesto Elemento only weighs 999 kg (2,202 lbs).
