Some of the ladies are most likely going to feel a little unnerved after watching this MV Agusta commercial. Truth be told, this add seems to perpetuate a bit of a sexist atmosphere we're not completely comfortable with.
If you ask us, we sort of expect that things changed already in the second decade of the 21st century and this type of macho attitude gave way to more creative ideas when it comes to motorcycle commercials.

More and more people are getting tired of the same cliche that objectifies women and makes them nothing more than toys for men. Still, it looks like we still have to wait until something really new surfaces in this field.

James Bond doesn't go for the lady, prefers stoppies on twisting mountain roads

All in all, this MV Agusta F3 plays the old James Bond tune. Only this time, Bond is impersonated by stunt rider Thibaut Nogues, dressed up according to the haute-tension spy code. This means the mandatory perfectly-tailored jacket and the bow tie that simple can't miss from the picture.

It's not exactly sure for whom does the bartender pour the drink. The girl has a Martini glass, while he fills a common-looking tumbler. Is Mr. Bond shooting a Shirley Temple or what?

Anyway, even if the drink thing is iffy, the beautiful girl digs Bond and writes down her number on a handkerchief and hands him the paper before taking off. Bond also exits the bar, but instead of riding to a date, he goes wild canyon carving, popping wheelies and stoppies on a road without traffic. And no, he doesn't go to her place!

Now, two more things. First of all it's nice to see AMG involved in MV Agusta commercials. Bond open the garage door and for a moment we thought he'll pick the AMG. With Mercedes involved in MV Agusta up to the knee level (a 25% minority), we are definitely going to see more of the two together in the future and this is cool.

On the other hand, we can't be certain that she wrote her number down! What if she went for "something completely different", to add a Monty Python paraphrase? What if she wrote "you're a wuss that won't have a drink with me. Too bad, you look really handsome; now go ride that bike of yours"?

Worth investigating, right?
