When it comes to cruisers, it goes without saying that the lower the seat, the more street credit the bike gets. So Mustang came up with the RunAround, the lowest and the leanest Harley-Davidson seat in their line-up, a special treat for every rider who values premium comfort but who’s not willing to make too many compromises in the aesthetics department.
The RunAround can make people look cool and stay comfy, Mustang Marketing Director Marilyn Simmons says: “Our old school New England craftsmanship combined with 21st century design means your seat looks as incredible as it feels. Mustang believes that a well-designed baseplate is the key to success, so that was where the engineering team started. It is an entirely new design, not just a modified version of an existing seat. However due to Mustang’s seat pan design and our proprietary foam, running around doesn’t have to be a pain in the posterior.”
Mustang’s new RunAround seats are crafted using the controlled density polyurethane foam poured in a layer that’s slightly thinner than the usual, but which retains the structural integrity and shape for years. These seats are crafted using the traditional Mustang quality components and materials, so if your behind has ever rested on one of their seats, you can now rest assured the RunAround will offer consistent comfort living up to both the manufacturer’s claims and customers’ expectations.
RunAround is so far available only as a solo seat in two versions which fit 2006-2014 Dyna models and 2008-2014 FL Touring bikes. The Dyna version is 9.5” (24cm) wide and will set you back with $229 (€173), while the FL model is 10.5” (26.7cm) wide and costs $259 (€196).
