MR Car Design Tunes Opel Insignia OPC

While we have to admit that we’ve never been huge fans of this German tuner’s work, at least this time MR Car Design has picked a good car to start with. This is the mighty Opel Insignia OPC, and it’s been turned from a practical yet powerful sports sedan into a useless car that you can never take into an underground park.

That’s because MR Car Design has slammed it so close to the ground that you’d think its a supercar while looking only at the side. But fear not, there’s still plenty of practicality left, because the Insignia rides on an adjustable G-Ride air suspension from Reil Performance.

Still, if a hump won’t dame the nose, some curb action will scrape the massive 20-inch wheels wrapped around in low-profile tires.

When it came out of its German factory, the OPC sedan was fitted with an already powerful 2.8-liter turbo V6 with 325 PS, but thanks to an ECU remap and new exhaust plus intake systems, it churns out 375 PS and 495Nm (365 lb-ft) of torque.

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
