If you want to test your mother’s reaction to a supercar, an idea that has to be in the top three dreams of Internet stardom seekers, a McLaren 650S is something you can’t go wrong with. And if it’s a Spider, such as the one we have here, things will only get more intense.
This is exactly what happens in the video below, with the mother being offered a shotgun ride having plenty of reasons to be proud of her son’s automotive achievements. Sure, the ride goes rather far on the wild side, but let’s hope she was briefed about it before strapping into that bucket seat.

One of the most intense moments of the drive sees the turbos spooling and, as the boost kicks in, it’s obvious that the G-forces generated are more than enough to make this a memorable experience.

As for those of you wondering about the dynamic disadvantages brought by the Spider version, you shouldn’t fret. From the very first model McLaren introduced when returning to road car production, they demonstrated their open-top versions are just as fast as the coupes, at least as far as road-going performance is concerned.

The 650S has come quite a long way from the MP4-12C, so this mom is definitely enjoying a cocktail of extreme sensations. In fact, you can see that, despite her efforts of keeping things cool, it’s difficult not to let the feelings and emotions show in such a machine.
