Blond hair, blue eyes and stunning body, Bar Rafaeli recently made fans bite the back of their hands after she posted an image of her wearing nothing but a swimsuit while foam washing a brand new Lexus RX.
At 29 she looks angelic, her smile would make the toughest men melt and she’s all about showing off her beauty. Refaeli led campaigns for Garnier, Escada, Chanel, Desigual, Samsung and several other companies. She has appeared on the covers of magazines such as Elle, Marie Claire, Vogue, Cosmopolitan, GQ, Esquire, Glamour, Maxim, Grazia and Harper’s Bazaar. And as of 2013, she has been the host of the first season of The X Factor Israel.
You see, all that controversy about the model trying to skip Israeli military service seems like it payed off. In case you didn’t know, in 2007 it was reported that Refaeli had married a family acquaintance and divorced him soon after to avoid military service in the Israel Defense Forces, which is mandatory for both men and women over the age of 18.
The Israeli Forum for the Promotion of Equal Share in the Burden threatened to boycott fashion chain Fox if they hired Refaeli, but the two sides reached a compromise in which Refaeli agreed to visit injured IDF soldiers on visits to Israel and encourage enlistment in the army. The gorgeous model was even criticized by fellow model Esti Ginzburg for her evasion of military service, back in 2009. To make things better, Bar also featured on the cover of Italian GQ’s war-themed May 2011 issue.
Next to the picture she put on her Instagram the model quoted “I got a new car.. It came with a part time job!” Well, we’re wondering if her fellow Israelis find her choice to avoid military service in favor of modeling a good one or not.
