Mitsuoka Launches Galue Limousine in Japan
Mitsuoka's most recent efforts have been to create this luxury limousine in four-door version, and the visual results are unique, to say the least. The car borrows its grill from Rolls Royce Phantoms of old, a pair of headlights that look like they came off a Fiat 500 and the entire back end, chrome trim and everything, from the Jaguar XJ.
The Galue Limousine will come with two trim levels and two engines: a 2.5-liter and a 3.5-liter V6. No word on the power provided, yet we do however know it will come with optional 4WD. The Limo is 4.98 meters long (16 ft. 4 in.), with a wheelbase of 2.77 meters (9ft. 1 in.). Its width of just 1.78 meters (5 ft. 10 in.) will make it easier to dart in and out of congested Tokyo traffic.
Inside we can see all the goodies you would expect: steering wheel covered in leather, a center console and dash covered in dark woods and more.
If you think its a bit too... unique for roads in Europe, you’ll be glad to hear it should only be available in Japan, starting November 12th. Prices start at JPY3,680,000 and go up to JPY5,284,000 (approximately US$44,700 to $64,200 at the current exchange rate).
We think it looks good for a knock-off, but does it have an umbrella in the door and a V12 like a Rolls Royce?
