Mitsubishi and Subaru have a lot in common when it comes to their performance sedans, but still, for the last 20 years they have been fiercely battling for supremacy on rally courses across the globe. Well, that won’t change for one of the most anticipated racing games - World of Speed.
The publishers have just released another in-game clip showing us that the two famous nameplates have been introduced into the content for fans to take the rivalry safely in the virtual world.
As you’ll see in the video, the two high-poly models, namely the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X and the Subaru Impreza WRX, are fully customizable, including both visual and functional upgrades.
In case it’s your first time stumbling upon this game, Slightly Mad Studios created World of Speed with one thing in mind - teamwork. In some races, the first who crosses the finish line might be actually the looser if his team did nothing the whole time.
Yep, World of Speed will allow players to group in teams and actively build up a score throughout racing events, with slipstreaming, finding shortcuts, overtaking, mastering corners and racing lines as well as drifting being scored accordingly. Which makes the podium place not that important, despite still being scored.
We shall also remind that you can subscribe to join the beta testing which will start sometime in the fourth quarter of this year.
