When designers don’t go around giving shooting brake identities to sporty coupes, they hide in studios cooking up body kits that will even make a Ferrari look better. Speaking of which, Misha Designs came up with such a project for the Ferrari 458.
Although we can’t really think of what add-ons can the Ferrari 458 receive to make it even more handsome than it already is, Misha Designs has a different point of view. In fact, make that two points of view.
The Ferrari 458 is so special that it needs not one, but two enhancing body kits, even if at the moment the project is all about photo manipulation, creativity and serious graphic skills. In a nutshell, Misha Designs created a regular Ferrari 458 body kit and a limited edition one “which will only be available to 20 units”.
As you would expect from such appearance-boosting gimmicks, the regular body kit comes with a hefty list of changes that add an aftermarket touch on the hood, front bumper, fenders and side skirts, without leaving aside the traditional sharp-looking rear wing.
But as always, Santa is even more generous when the words ‘limited edition’ are mention. This is why Misha Designs’ limited edition kit add 3-inch wide rear panels and a rear wing that is one with the supercar’s body. It is actually inspired by the track-monster Ferrari FXX-K hypercar, with only one difference: the blade extends all the way across as one piece, instead of two separate smaller blades.
It really goes without saying that the body kits are 100% made of carbon fiber and Misha Designs are now taking pre-orders from customers wanting to take their Ferraris from hot to hottest as summer is closing in.
