All of them will be present at the MINI stand this year at the Frankfurt Auto Show, including the JCW models. What makes this event special for the British brand is the introduction of new accessories for specific models.

Launching retrofit 25-watt xenon headlamps at this year's event in Frankfurt, MINI will become the world's first automobile manufacturer to offer such a device with manual height adjustment.

This way, MINI, MINI Clubman, MINI Convertible, MINI Coupe and MINI Roadster owners can fit their cars with xenon lamps at a very low cost, to improve their vehicle's night time safety.

The advantages of the xenon headlamps are obvious and pretty easy to spot: longer service life, lower energy consumption and higher efficiency than traditional, halogen lamps.

Since we're talking headlights, another new accessory that can be retrofitted to certain models is the LED daytime running light, a device that is fitted on the car instead of the fog lights, having 2 functions: DRL and fog light.

The device is split in two, down the middle, serving both functions. To top it all off, MINI will also launch the Navigation Portable XL system, a 4.3" display that is removable from the car and uses TMC Premium traffic jam warnings.
