British automaker MINI will be represented in this year’s Pikes Peak International Hill Climb by the “No Limit” racer which will be driven by French driver Jean Philipe Dayraut.
Although it looks like a MINI Paceman, Dayraut’s vehicle has no other connection with the British car, with the body shell sitting on the same chassis that underpinned the Dacia Duster “No Limit” that almost won the even last year.
Now 176 lbs (80 kg) lighter that its predecessor and boasting an extra 50 HP, the MINI “No Limit” sends 900 HP to the ground thanks to its twin-turbo 3.8-liter V6 engine, which mean more than 1,000 HP per tone.
Jean Philipe Dayraut will race the MINI “No Limit” in the Unlimited Class. This year’s Pikes Peak International Hill Climb is set to take place on June 30. Until then, watch a preview with the 2013 MINI “No Limit” in the video uploaded below.
