MINI Cooper Matt Edition Launched
text size: A- A+
The new limited-edition will be available with all engines available across the standard lineup, including the 1.6-liter with 118 hp, the 1.6-liter turbo with 208 hp and the 1.6-liter diesel with 110 hp, as worldcarfans.com wrote.
All the aforementioned options will be included in a single package priced at EUR 2,800.
Meanwhile, all eyes are set on the Paceman concept displayed at the 2011 North American International Auto Show that's expected to enter production sometimes this year. The concept was fitted with a John Cooper Works 1.6 liter twin-scroll turbocharged four-cylinder unit that delivers 211 hp and a maximum torque of 280 Nm (207 lb-ft), which also comes with an Overboost function.
We're not sure if these features will be offered on the production model as well, but the concept featured a bold appearance, employing new design cues such as large headlights with chrome details, a new bonnet and borrowing the Cooper S Countryman’s front grille. The vehicle was using 19-inch rims and came with dark wheel arch surrounds with matching side skirts, offering a rugged look.
