MINI has already established a tradition of releasing London-inspired special editions and now the carmaker is giving us a fresh one, the Clubman Bond Street. The vehicle takes inspiration from the famous shopping street and will bring “a unique interior and exterior interpretation that reflects the style of this most upmarket of London addresses”.
The car is dressed in Midnight Black Metallic, featuring a contrasting roof, exterior mirror caps, bonnet stripes, as well as Cool Champagne-finished lower C-pillars. It rides in 17-inch alloy wheels with a double-spoke design, which mix a black center with an outer circle finished in Cool Champagne.
Climbing aboard, we find a Carbon Black finish with contrast piping and stitching for the lounge leather seats, Deep Champagne trimming, as well as a Chrome Line pack.
The Clubman Bond Street can be ordered with one of the four engines available, two petrols and two diesels: the MINI Cooper (122hp), MINI Cooper S (184hp), MINI Cooper D (112hp) and MINI Cooper SD (143hp). The powerplants come with a standard six-speed manual transmission, but you can also order an automatic with the same number of gears.
The special edition offers a comprehensive list of features, including including front fog lights, Chrome line exterior package, climate control, on-board computer, Bluetooth, USB functionality, rain sensor and automatic headlamp activation, sport leather steering wheel, height adjustment for both front seats, the storage package and the lighting package.
The MINI Clubman Bond Street will make its debut at the Geneva Motor Show. The vehicle, which will only be offered for a limited period, will enter production in March and will be priced between £20,275(€24,090) and £24,045 (€28,570).
