MINI Celebrates 12 Years in the USA

Back in 2002, just one year after BMW launched the revamped, modern MINI, the Germans were opening a new branch for their British subsidiary across the Atlantic, in the US. It was the first time the brand was officially sold in North America and a reference point for years to come.
Now, just over 12 years later, the US market is the second largest for the brand, just shy of the UK one that still reigns supreme. Last year alone, MINI sold 305,030 units, a record breaking sum overall.

At the same time, under the brilliant leadership of Jim McDowel, the company thrived and established long lasting friendships with its customers and helped them, in turn, establish life-long relationships, a side of the business too few take into account.

To say thank you and show its gratitude for the trust people showed them in turn, the MINI USA Youtube channel just posted a new video showcasing photos from satisfied customers all over the USA.

What’s most impressive about the video is that people actually found themselves in the photos and posted funny comments online. Check their thoughts after watching the video.
