Supercar spotter Marchettino was filming a Mercedes Benz SLS AMG and a bunch of other supercars including a Lamborghini Gallardo at the 2012 Mille Miglia when he caught on camera one of the most daredevil overtaking maneuvers we’ve ever seen.
On the one hand, you’ve got about €200,000 worth of supercar in the form of a 572 horsepower Mercedes SLS AMG and on the other a big Volvo truck that could smash it to smithereens.
Now, only an owner with too much money would risk his car, not to mention life and limb, for absolutely no reason whatsoever.
For a moment there, it almost seems like the SLS is going to crash into the truck, but he seems to judge the distances correctly and knows the width of the V8-powered supercar very well. But isn’t this just a case of having too much money and not enough common sense? After all, the money would be no good to him in the afterlife.
