Mercedes SLR 7o7 Edition by Wheelsandmore

The tuners at Wheelsaandmore seem to be on top of their game today, releasing one enhancement kit after another. The latest to join the pack is the so-called SLR 7o7 Edition, as it is affectionately nicknamed by the guys behind it. And there is a reason for that designation too.

Specifically, it comes from the standard 707 horsepower and 915 Nm of torque the supercar now develops thanks to a larger compressor and an ECU upgrade.

We’ll remind you that in standard form, the SLR develops 626 horsepower and 780 Nm of torque. Enough for most people, but not for the aftermarket specialists at Wheelsandmore.

But before we move on to the styling aspects, let us rest with the performance ones for a bit and tell you the power increase enables the Wheelsandmore Mercedes SLR 7o7 Edition to accelerate from naught to sixty in just 3.5 seconds.

A compression and rebound adjustable, full race approved coilover with damper housings of strength aluminum alloy was also installed. Also contributing to the enhanced performance and handling are the 20-inch multi-piece forged 6Sporz2 wheels that are weight-optimized and wrapped in Dunlop Sportmaxx tires.

Inside tweaks have also been performed, in the form of a carbon fiber wrapped center console and AMG Performance shift paddles.

“Already known for spectacular modifications on all AMG Mercedes models, Wheelsandmore didn´t even stop at the extremely rare MC Laren collaboration model. Although both manufacturers are going their separate ways since then, the SLR is already an absolutely classic, though technically antiquated,” the tuners motivate their choice. "For this and also optical reasons the Wheelsandmore “Edition 7o7” requires further approach."
