Mercedes E400 Hybrid Gets US Pricing
The powertrain combines a 302 horsepower (306 PS) 3.5-liter V6 with a 20 kW electric motor and returns 27 mpg on the combined cycle, along with 31 mpg highway and 24 mpg in city driving.
Despite offering comparable horsepower figures, the Mercedes E400 is slower than the less expensive M35h. However, it’s more competitively price than the new BMW ActiveHybrid5 and the new Lexus GS450h.
We know that Mercedes prides itself on offering a different luxury hybrid approach to its rival, but can a ‘mild’ hybrid really be competitive in a marked filled with car that be driven in electric-only model.
