April Fools' Day happened exactly two months ago and the reason we're reminding you this has a lot to do with Brabus and their obsessive work on Mercedes-Benz models, including the new V-Class.
To celebrate the internationally-accepted trickery day, Mercedes-AMG released 'official' info on the all-new Sprinter63 S performance van. Naturally, we didn't buy it and neither did you, but you have to admit that an AMG-tuned van powered by a hand-built 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 delivering 510 HP can raise a sea of eyebrows.

As we slowly come back to Earth, we find out the Brabus took the Mercedes-Benz V-Class and carried out individual performance and equipment enhancing tricks, but nothing as extreme as the Sprinter63 S.

Under the hood, the luxury van received a discrete tweaking for its BlueTec four-cylinder turbo diesel engine. As a result, power was increased by 44 HP to 232 HP while maximum torque went up by 52 lb-ft (70 Nm) to 376 lb-ft (509 Nm).

We're not sure what those seated in the back will feel about the new 0-100 km/h (62 mph) acceleration time, but Brabus says the van needs 8.8 seconds to fulfill that task.

The world will know the V-Class was spoiled by Brabus thanks to a new aero body kit that reduces front-end lift nicely fitted with redesigned 18- and 19-inch rims and a tuned suspension system.

But the cabin is where the V-Class does things best, and Brabus didn't overlook the van's interior. Therefore, they installed two 15.6-inch LCD screens that drop from the headliner and a WLAN router. As you might expect, the entire suite on wheels is covered in leather and Alcantara.

If you're eager to have a Brabus-embroidered V-Class, feel free to use the configurator available on the tuner's website.
