Readers of the “Back Journal”, which apparently is a bakery trade magazine, have voted the new Mercedes-Benz Sprinter as the “2013 Bakery Van of the Year” in the large-capacity segment.
“We are delighted to receive this award for the seventh time”, said Matthias Hindemith, Member of the Management Board of the Mercedes-Benz Sales Organization for Germany (MBVD) responsible for van sales, during the presentation ceremony at the Frankfurt International Motor Show. It shows us that the Sprinter also satisfies the exacting needs of customers in the bakery trade, in which reliability and quality are also top priority. At the same time, this award is also an acknowledgment of our long-standing involvement with the German trades sector in general and our close cooperation with the German Confederation of Skilled Crafts (ZDH).”
