If there's one thing the Internet has taught us is that everybody loves cats. But that doesn't mean it goes the other way around as well: some people have made fortunes with cat memes websites, while others had their spanking new expensive SUVs badly damaged.
Meet Nick Grimshaw, a 2nd tier British celebrity that was once a judge on X Factor and is now hosting a morning show on Radio 1. He was actually on his way to the radio on Monday evening when his trip was cut short by a feline crossing the street.

Not the type of guy to run over somebody's pet, Nick stepped on the brakes and swerved to the left, managing to spare the poor kitty who must have thought it was all over as the huge frame of the Mercedes-Benz G-Class was heading its way. Unfortunately for him, though, the maneuver resulted in the mighty G-Wagen flipping onto its right side, with a pool of liquid dripping from the engine compartment.

The funny thing is that witnesses of the event say he couldn't have been traveling at more than 10, maybe 15 miles an hour. The question is: how did the G-Class manage to tip over at this sort of speed? Should somebody perform the moose test on the Mercedes-Benz behemoth immediately?

The answer probably lies with that silver Volkswagen Golf which appears to have been rammed by Nick's G-Class before going for the side drop. The moderate damage on the hatchback confirms the slow speed, but it also casts further doubt over the stability of the SUV

At the end of the day, one thing is clear (and I'm sure the cat would agree): somebody should buy this man a beer. He obviously can afford to buy one himself (The Mirror says the car was less than one-year-old and cost around £80,000 - $100,000), but he deserves it nonetheless. Plus, it's not like he's going to drive anywhere anytime soon.
