ADV.1 Wheels brags that its wheels come with a design that doesn’t fade out in time and to demonstrate this the aftermarket specialist has released a special photo shoot that showcases a product they released three years ago.
We are talking about the ADV10 DC (Deep Concave), a rim model that made its debut on the previous generation of the Mercedes CLS, targeting the 63 AMG model. Now the tuner has fitted the wheels to the fresh CLS, with the result being visible in the gallery bellow.
The wheels comes with an elegant design, with ten small spokes, which matches the lines of the German four-door coupe. Sure, it's not like anybody would mistake these wheels for production units, but they won't scream 'tuning" either.
But there's more to the wheels' desing than that. Using a brushed aluminum finish for the center and a chrome one for the lip, the rims don't take things to an extreme level. Moreover, the wheels are wrapped in high performance rubber. After all, we mustn't forget we are talking about an Affalterbach machine here.
Powered by a twin-turbo 5.5-liter V8, the CLS63 AMG allows the driver to control 557 hp and 531 lb-ft (720 Nm). This is the kind of machine that can be described as a melange between long-trip treats, such as coziness and serious soundproofing and high-octane treats. The latter are best represented by the typical AMG exhaust note, which reminds you of what Mercedes' go-fast arm is all about. You won't make a mistake by calling these machines European muscle cars, since they manage to bring the American spirit to Germany. Sure, the driving experience could do with more involvment, but then again, this is the AMG spirit.
And when you consider that you can enjoy all the goodies mentioned above together with your family, the CLS63 AMG starts sounding like an offer you can't refuse.
