Mercedes Benz CLA Super Bowl Commercial: Selling Soul to Devil [Video]
You might even consider selling your kidneys in order to buy it. In fact, some kid from China has probably done that already. The list of must-haves usually includes the Nissan GT-R, all the coolest hot hatchbacks and a Lambo or Ferrari.
But now, there's a new car you might consider a contract with the devil for, the Mercedes CLA. This is a brand new compact four-door coupe with looks to kill and (supposedly) an affordable price tag.
Mercedes' ad for the super bowl centers around just that idea: selling one's soul. The devil arrives in the form of one very talented Willem Dafoe, who offers to take that meaningless little thing you call a soul in exchange for the Mercedes and the life that comes with it.
That epic life includes some really sweet arm candy in the form of the sensual Kate Upton, dancing with Usher racing the Mercedes F1 car and being chased around by adoring female fans and just being an all-round baller.
Fortunately just before he signs, our protagonist sees that the CLA is actually within any mortal's reach at under $30,000. This star-studded commercial is definitely cool. But we had one little problem with the way the car is presented in full spec.
