Since the German manufacturer started to take out the ragtop version of the C-Class for testing, the development mules were always wearing camouflage both inside and out. But now we know that the upcoming Mercedes-Benz C-Class Cabriolet will get a dashing cabin design.
As it happens, someone from MB Passion managed to capture on film a pre-production version of the upcoming model's interior, displayed at the Mercedes-Benz Museum. Keep in mind that this is just a work-in-progress job, but the more eagle-eyed Mercedes fan definitely knows that what you see here will be carried over to the production version.

Except from three new buttons placed next to the armrest, the design, the buttons, the air vents, the steering wheel, literally every bit and bob is a carbon copy of what you get on the sedan version (W205) of the C-Class. If you look very closely to the icons, this three-button cluster controls the AirCap function, soft-top roof and the wind deflector.

If you want to go into the fine details, the cabin is just as exquisite as a properly configured one on the sedan - there's a symphony of natural grain wood, aluminum, beige perforated leather and high quality rubbery plastics. There will be seating for four adults, alright, but like any soft-top convertible, space in the back won't be enough for taller people. Moreover, it seems like the doors are similar in length to the ones fitted to the four-door iteration of the German model.

It's not known when the Mercedes-Benz C-Class Cabriolet will be officially presented by the Stuttgart-based premium manufacturer, but we expect that the venue is most likely to be the Frankfurt Auto Show, slated to open its doors in September, 2015.
