MEC Design Pumps Up the Mercedes C63 AMG
But you don’t have to worry, as more power is always available from the tuning world. And speaking about the Power War and tuning, the latest soldier to receive a modification pack is the mighty Mercedes C63 AMG.
The vehicle’s naturally aspirated 6.2 liter engine has been fitted with a sports air filter, a stainless steel exhaust system that uses sport catalytic converters and an ECU remap, gaining 113 hp. This means that the saloon now lets the driver play with no less than 600 hp. The torque has also been increased to a level of 700 Nm.
The aforementioned figures are impressive, so we would’'ve liked to see how they are translated to the road. Unfortunately, the tuning house din not offer the performance specification for their latest project.
The car rides on 20 inch mecxtremeIII lightweight alloy rims that use high-performance tires to keep the vehicle on the road and put the power down.
The car has also been gifted with a multitude of carbon fiber exterior parts, such as a front spoiler add-on element, new side air intakes (these are fitted on the front bumper) and a modified rear spoiler that houses a diffuser.
The interior of the MEC Mercedes C63 AMG has also received attention, getting a carbon fiber finish for many elements, like the steering wheel, door panels, center console and seat covers.
