McLaren wants their less-wealthy customers to enjoy their supercar pedigree and will launch the 540C later this month in Shanghai.

According to Car Magazine, McLaren is ready to launch the 540C, its cheapest model rumored to cost around £126,000 ($188,530). So, what should potential clients expect from the new McLaren 540C?
Well, the so-called 'bargain' price will mean that visually, the car will not benefit from McLaren's full wrath in terms of exterior design. Therefore, we could see a less rebel body kit and aerodynamic package while power output should be now placed at 540 HP, as the car's name suggests.
Regarding the car's behavior, Woking engineers came up with a softer overall setup package that would allow clients everyday use but the same bragging rights in front of their friends.
In other words, the access to the car's cabin is now being done in a swift fashion because the doors open wider. In addition, the drivetrain will be a chummy version of what McLaren is usually offering, but without harming performances.
With the Sports Series, McLaren is going further with their multi-output masterplan after Asia should see a down-powered version of the mighty 650S, called the 620C. Coming back to the 540C, the cheapest McLaren will slot under the 570S that already received its price tag: $184,900 in the US, £143,250 in the UK.
