The McLaren MP4-12C joins the club of burning supercars, with an example of the car recently catching fire in the proximity of Munich, Germany. The unfortunate event took place on Wednesday, on the junction between the A92 and the A99.
It seems that the he driver lost control of the supercar and hitting a tree. Both the driver and the passenger were injured in the accident, but there’s no evidence that these were severe.
Both the driver and the passenger had managed to escape when the emergency services arrived, but the vehicle was destroyed by the flames. The car was using dealership number plates, which leads us to believe that it was out on a test drive at the moment of the crash
Our say: the MP4-12C has recnetly turned one and this isn’t exactly the birthday cake candle fire we were expending.
