McLaren is a company with a long heritage, and its models can be considered investments.
One fresh investment opportunity has appeared today as the company has showcased an original McLaren F1 for sale. We are talking about chassis number 69, which is “one of the very last produced.”

Its verified odometer only shows 2,800 miles (4,500 kilometers), and the vehicle comes in a “factory condition,” as McLaren describes it.

McLaren Special Operations’ Heritage division is in the business of maintaining all remaining F1 models globally, so they know a thing or two about what “factory condition” means on a car like this.

For example, the #69 chassis comes with the original and complete Facom titanium lightweight toolkit and Facom toolbox, elements that were custom-made for the F1. Furthermore, all literature and books related to the car, as well as the “correct numbered” LM Edition of the “Driving Ambition” McLaren F1 book are included. The new owner will also receive the limited-edition McLaren F1 owner’s watch.

The example for sale is finished in Carbon Black, and comes with a “stealth” finish to the 17-inch magnesium wheels. Once inside, the driver’s seat is finished in black and comes with contrasting red leather accents, while the dual passenger seats in the rear have Alcantara upholstery.

Woking’s finest built the #69 chassis in 1998, when they only made six examples of the original McLaren F1. According to the company, the example that’s available for sale was the 60th model overall to be hand-build in the Woking facility. This is a significant milestone, when considering that the British company only built 64 roadgoing versions of the McLaren F1 between 1993 and 1998.

We are talking about one of the rarest cars in the world, with around 100 remaining, and it’s worth several million dollars. Some analysts expect this vehicle to switch hands for almost $10 million, but those are just estimates, as nobody can accurately predict its selling price.

In over fourteen years, he got behind the wheel of several hundred vehicles and in the offices of the most important car publications in his homeland.
