I Want to Drive!... Even if my financial situation is a bit far from tying up with that of my colleague Bach, you probably already know I'm not actually poor either. And that's just to be modest. Yet, I don't like helicopters and I only use planes if I really have to. I'm a fan (age ... Continue reading >

Maserati unveiled a new series of “go faster” goodies for all their beautiful vehicles. Just like Ferrari who has the One To One Personalisation Programme, the glamorous firm launched the MC Sport Line yesterday at the Bologna Motor Show.

Maserati have presented their kits on a white Maserati GrandTurismo S and if you have such a car or just a simple GrandTurismo you can start ordering these bits and pieces in early 2009. Exterior kits include front and rear carbon fiber spoilers, side skirts, carbon fiber mirror housings, CF door handles and gloss black 20-inch wheels.

Maserati have been messing about under the “skin” of the new GrandTurismo S and modified the suspension settings. New stiffer springs, shock absorbers and anti roll bars coupled to a specific Maserati Stability Programme software allow the driver to have a play only when he wants to. The car even sits lower to the ground which is translated by a 10mm difference between the standard model and this one.

There is no news on pricing yet, but expect huge increases over the standard model.

We can see that this is becoming a fashion thing, because it seems that some manufacturers think this might catch on. Alongside Maserati, BMW also announced recently that they rolled out tuning kits for the 3 series and the 1 series. You can read about this in our previous article.
