Mazda Zoom-Zooms October Sales

Generally, Zoom-Zoom achieved greater sales in 17 European countries in October, with no less than six markets setting new sales records. Russia is by far the top country when it comes to Mazda sales, with 6,200 delivered vehicles and an increase by 29 percent in comparison with October 2007. Austria comes second with 1,700 units (+70 percent) and Italy with 1,600 cars (+11 percent).
Belgium and Luxembourg brought the highest sales growth, with 133 percent more units delivered in October 2008 when compared to the same month of 2007. Mazda says this is the highest October volume of sales in Belgium since 1994.
“In the UK and Spain, Mazda achieved its highest October market shares ever, estimated at 2.0 and 1.3 percent respectively. Portugal set two October records: for retail volume at 530 vehicles, which is up 64 percent, and for an estimated market share of 2.4 percent. Croatia achieved its highest single-month sales volume in history, at 410 units, which is up 92 percent year-on-year,” Mazda described the market evolution in three major countries.
Zoom-zoom performed well in Slovenia too, with approximately 150 units sold in October 2008, a 69 percent increase from the same month of the previous year.
