Maybach 57S Cruiserio Coupe Coming to Geneva
The moment the model will be presented will mark the world premiere of the model, which comes nearly three months after German coachbuilder Xenatec delivered the first unit to a dealer in Saudi Arabia.
The model deserves a special look for two reasons: firstly, because it is a Maybach, the first new model in a long time (even if, for all intents and purposes, it was custom built for an undisclosed customer), and secondly, because Xenatech isn't your average neighborhood tuner.
Packing a 6.0l V12 twin-turbo engine, the 57S offers the thrill of 612 horsepower screaming from under the hood and the force of the 737 lb-ft of maximum torque (top speed of 171 mph/275 km/h and naught to sixty acceleration in 5 seconds).
Being a Maybach, in essence (Xenatech received the auto makers approval to build the Cruiserio, which also comes with the Maybach complete four-year unlimited mileage warranty and a four-year service & repair package), the model is packed with high-end features and luxury accents. For instance, buffalo hide in natural color and dark nappa leather wrap up the interior, enhanced by the natural light provided by the custom-built panorama roof. The Cruiserio has been priced at GBP586,000 (EUR676,690 or $927,811).
