Three months have passed since Maserati unveiled the 2014 Ghibli, and it looks like the Italian automaker is pretty anxious about its new four-door luxury sedan.
And given it’s supposed to boost company sales and open new market opportunities we feel like they have every reason to act like they do. Sure, only time will tell if Ghibli will see success, but we obviously have to wait for next year to arrive.
Meanwhile, Maserati is doing its best to keep the Ghibli in the spotlight and released a new video that follows the vehicle’s “design story”. Called “Photo shooting backstage”, the new footage is much shorter and, we may add, less intriguing, but we bet a lot of you are anxious to see more of Maserati’s BMW 5 Series competitor.
As a reminder, the 2014 Maserati Ghibli will arrive with a choice of three engines, including a 3.0-liter V6 diesel mill that’s rated at 275 HP. The company will also offer two twin-turbo gasoline V6 units that deliver 330 HP and 410 HP respectively. All three engines are mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission.
