Marussia Preparing Seven New Models for the 2011 Frankfurt Auto Show
We are talking about Marussia, which has asked us to prepare for next year’s Frankfurt Auto Show, where it will introduce no less than seven new models.
So, let’s see what the current status of the company is. As far as the public roads are concerned, the company offers the B1 and B2, a pair of supercars than offer an interesting package, but don’t quite manage to take the game to a stratospheric level, as well as the F2 SUV, a vehicle that may come with multiple assets, but which offers a strange-looking exterior. Of course, the Russian company recently acquired the Virgin Racing F1 team, so it is clear that it has a great development potential.
Offering such an explosion of novelties seems like an extremely ambitious plan... because it is. Of course, others have tried and succeeded (just look at Lotus, which introduced four go-fast vehicles and a city car) but managing to pull such a move is extremely difficult and this is why we have to see it done before we can offer any congrats. Various media reports indicate that the Russians are preparing a city vehicle, a premium saloon, a luxury SUV, as well as a coupe, among others.
And Marussia’s plans don’t stop here. The company is also reportedly willing to inaugurate new showrooms in London and Monaco, enter the U.S. market and open two new production sites in Germany and Belgium.
