M&P Speed Apparel, a California-based clothing label, has announced they will be showing a retro mobile for the gentlemen at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas later this month.
The project will start with an old Austin Mini Cooper, which will feature a blend of modern and classic styling cues. It will also be packed with technology, added to the mix by Sponsor Valor Multimedia.

The photo you see is just a digital creation, but the real car will have a similar wrap created by wrap specialty shop Daley Visual.

“We will be releasing a rendering of the car shortly, the thought was to keep the car clearly identifiable as a Mini Cooper, by just making minor changes to the car and focusing on the materials we used to make it unique. The car will feature bold bodywork thanks to modern car wrap technology and will feature one of the most advanced in-dash navigation and multimedia systems on the market. We are taking an old car and applying modern restyling and technology to create a stylish and unique city car,” said Michael.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
