Remember Aleem Iqbal, the 19-year old Brit known on social media for showing off his eccentric vehicles? After having hundred-thousand dollars luxury rides torched by several arson attacks recently, he spent some time off social activity. Now it seems he got over it, as the young fellow recently posted an image of a golden Lamborghini Aventador. We can only hope this one will remain safe.
After finding his Lamborghini Aventador Roadster burned to a crisp by vandals in London on 6th of June, another two Audi R8s and a Bentley Flying Spur were lit on fire by three unidentified men, weeks later. Authorities found that the damage came to around £500,000 ($850,000).
Back then, Iqbal wrote on his social media accounts that he had a million British pounds ($850,000) worth of cars destroyed in the last few days: “I’m not really in a great state of mind at the moment. I’m not sure if it’s an attack on my family because they would have come directly after me or my family if that was the case. However, I do believe it could be a vile act of jealousy towards my business or it could just be mindless vandals on an arson spree.”
Seeing him back on track is good news and we’re happy the guy got past the incident. In case you're wondering, Aleem is the son of the owner of Platinum Executive Travel firm in Yardley, Birmingham, so people assume the expensive cars he’s always showing off with are not really his.
Whatever the case is, we can only hope the 700 horsepower beast will be kept safe. As to the car Iqbal recently bragged with on Instagram, it looks like a new ride, but could also be one of his father’s expensive cars.
