LoJack to Protect Classic Cars
Called LoJack for Classics, the system has been specially created for classic vehicles, which lack the electronics complexity of modern day cars. A personalized installation process has also been developed so that the car is not altered in any way (as it might harm it or decrease its value).
The system for classic cars does not take its power from the vehicle's battery, but uses its own energy supply. Details on how the system actually works have not been provided, you know, just in case there's a car thief among us.
LoJack for Classics is however providing the same advantages as the system for modern cars, being also integrated with police departments and their systems.
"Theft of vintage cars is a lucrative business most often done at the hands of professional thieves, who can make as much as a few hundred thousand dollars on these vehicles,” said Ted Saraf, LoJack Law Enforcement liaison.
“And, since the recovery rate of stolen vehicles is at a 25-year low, it is even more critical now to protect these valuable cars from theft. This new system will provide my fellow classic car owners with a powerful means not only to protect their vehicles, but to get them back if they're ever stolen."
The system for classic cars is priced at $695 and can be ordered from the following link.
