Remember the awesome C-1 two-wheeled vehicle which was to change personal transportation and raise the safety bar? A patent was issued for the C-1 stability system, and even if this does not equal sales success.
What it does mean, however, is that the whole project is moving on and is one step closer to a final shape. The dual gyroscope self-balancing stability system ensures that the C-1 remains upright even if the vehicle is crashed into or it rides in strong crosswinds. The same goes for turning, slowing down and all the above at the same time.

The tow flywheels are also acting as generators and they harness back some of the energy and max out the range. According to Autoblog, 75% of the C-1 production scheduled for 2014 is already sold, even though a road-ready prototype is yet to be expected.

This might be a good indicator for the potential success the C-1 has and we can hardly wait to see the "magic" happening.
