German lubricants and additives manufacturer Liqui Moly announces a new era in the development of new products and the rebranding of the existing line. So next time you see a Liqui Moly container bearing the “Racing” name, you should know that the product belongs to the “old” line, as the current products have been renamed as “Motorcycle”.
The change was inspired by market and customer analysis which determined that the “Racing” tag appealed mostly to sportbike riders, whereas all motorcyclists could in fact benefit from using the mentioned products. Liqui Moly believes that the new name will bring in more customers, by eliminating the somewhat discriminative name form all the labels of products destined for motorcycles.

At the same time, Liqui Moly will be using a much clearer product identification system which will allow all riders to find the products they need faster and easier. With 40 new products introduced in the new “Motorcycle” line, such a move is obviously clever and will produce good results.

The products will be first divided in Street and Off-road categories, with the first one comprising motorbikes, scooters and go-karts, while the latter one encompasses bikes, ATVs and snowmobiles. The mineral, semi-synthetic or full-synthetic type of product will be indicated by a label color code, while the color of the container indicates the 4-stroke or 2-stroke use.

Liqui Moly added all-new products to their line, such as Engine Flush oil cleaner, 20W-50 HD, an economical 10W-40 type, petrol stabilizers, Speed Additive and more. Check with your local Liqui Moly retailers for more details on the new product range.
