When Lincoln introduced the Continental Concept, not many details were available regarding the car's interior, although you'd definitely expect the best of the best for the brand's future flagship.
In any case, you are here because Lincoln thought it would be useful if we learned a thing or two about the vehicle's 30-way seats.

Lincoln says the seats will make you feel refreshed and rejuvenated after a long trip, but we have our doubts on that. It also depends on what they mean by long trip.

Engineers and designers found their inspiration by looking at first-class and private airplane seats. As a result, they came up with a suspension system based on plastic and foam. The mix flexes around the body, helping take stress off the shoulders and neck.

“The new design of the Lincoln 30-way seats goes beyond the one-size-fits-all design seen in the past,” said Johnathan Line, advanced seat innovation supervisor, and technical expert. “It conforms to your body and supports it in ways not previously possible.”

As for lower body and legs support, Lincoln tells us two extending and independently adjustable thigh cushions handle this task. They can also move up and down, depending on the passenger's choice.

Additional comfort is provided by massage functions in the back and cushion. The rolling-pattern massage is designed to help reduce muscle fatigue, aches and pains by keeping muscles and blood vessels stimulated in the legs and lower back.

On top of that, the seats are heated, cooled and ventilated, so we're looking at technology similar to what Mercedes-Benz implemented for the S-Class.

For example, the head restraint can be adjusted in four ways, cushion extension allows two movements on each side (the same goes for thigh support) while track adjustment can be done in six different settings.
